A wallet application for Quorum Blockchain
The journey of creating Consilio began with the exploration of various ideas to connect with the Quorum blockchain. The goal was to develop an innovative application that leveraged blockchain technology to deliver unique value. After considering multiple concepts, I decided to create an application that embodied both process automation and user-centered design.
Design Thinking Process
To bring Consilio to life, I employed the Design Thinking process, a methodology that emphasizes understanding the user's needs and iterating on ideas to develop a practical and effective solution.
Empathize
The first step involved understanding the users and their pain points. I conducted user interviews and gathered insights to build a comprehensive view of the challenges they faced.
Define
Based on the empathy stage, I defined clear problem statements that guided the project's direction. This stage involved synthesizing the collected information to pinpoint the core issues the application would address.
Ideate
With a well-defined problem, I brainstormed various ideas and potential solutions. This creative phase was crucial in exploring different possibilities and selecting the most promising one.
Prototype
I began sketching initial designs and iterating on them. These sketches served as the foundation for creating reusable Figma components, which allowed for efficient and flexible design adjustments.
Next, I developed a clickable prototype in Figma. This prototype provided a tangible representation of the application, enabling stakeholders and users to interact with and provide feedback on the design.
Test
The prototype was put to the test with potential users. Their feedback was invaluable in refining the design and ensuring it met their needs effectively. Iterations were made based on this feedback to enhance the user experience.
Development Process
With the design validated, I moved on to the development phase, focusing on creating a robust and reusable codebase.
React Components
I developed and documented several reusable React components. These components were designed to be flexible and modular, allowing for easy integration and reuse in future projects.

The documentation was created using Storybook, a tool that helped in visualizing and testing the components in isolation. This ensured that each component was well-documented and easy to understand.
User Interface Kit
The collection of React components formed what I called the User Interface Kit, Consilio. This kit served as a comprehensive resource for building consistent and high-quality user interfaces across various projects.
Final Outcome
The outcome of this process was Consilio, an application that seamlessly connected to the Quorum blockchain, offering a blend of process automation and intuitive user-centered design. The project not only demonstrated the power of the Design Thinking process but also showcased the importance of creating reusable components for efficient and scalable development.

This project was a personal hobby undertaken before my employment at Partior. It was conducted during my personal free time on weekends. The Quorum blockchain used in this project was set up and run locally on my personal laptop, as it is an open-source project.
All smart contracts written for this project were developed prior to my joining Partior. These smart contracts were created purely as a hobby and for the purpose of exploring smart contract capabilities and challenging my skills in blockchain technology.
